I am a rising senior studying mechanical engineering, with minors in history and American studies. This past summer, I completed an internship in archaeology and historic preservation with the Fairfield Archaeological Society, where I learned how my engineering skills, especially in 3D modeling and drones, can support historic preservation. I also interned in environmental engineering focused on public policy with Wetlands Watch. I aim to reflect on past projects that may not have been socially responsible or environmentally conscious, ensuring that everyone is involved in infrastructure technology that addresses climate issues. I hope to eventually work at a STEM museum to educate visitors on the history of science and technology.
